Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluent German, Russian English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and mother of a Russian mother. When she was 11 Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which earned her a German TV appearance. The show included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school and was awarded a bachelor's degree from the Department of English at the University of New York. The classes she took in acting were with the HB Studios. She later went on to study improv comedy at the Groundlings School. She was born to the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to New York when she was thirteen year old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable TV performance. Her other roles included recurring ones in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
